It has been a lovely, rainy day back in good ole Sydney. Hubby and I had a coffee date at our favourite local cafe, Bean Drinking. It is a great little spot that has some of the best coffee around.
One of the coolest things they have is called, “the Slayer”. It is a hand built, very rare espresso machine. They have the 7th one ever built! SLAYER set out to create a machine that was void of any and all unnecessary clutter, preferring a minimalistic approach where only what the barista needed to see and use to make coffee were actually visible on the machine. For the first time on modern machines, the SLAYER allows barista to control the pressure while extracting the shot. This pretty much equals the best espresso shot you have ever tasted!
So go check this cafe out!

Hey,
just wanted to say firstly, thanks so much for taking the time to blog about your time at Bean Drinking. I am pleased you enjoy visiting us, and enjoyed your shots off the Slayer!
I also just wanted to say that I love the photos you guys took. Really like the ‘treatment’ you have given them. It is the first time I have seen photos of our place done in that way, so thanks for sharing those moments of your day with everyone who reads your blog.
Keith.
