Chapti: A delicious African flatbread that is prepared most weeks in many Ugandan homes. These stands are EVERYWHERE in Kampala. Seeing these are part of normal life lately. Although I can’t eat them, because Chapti = gluten galore. And Kampala hasn’t really mastered gluten free very well, so doubt I can find any gluten free versions. But, I […]
With the help of our very good friend, Daz, we found this incredible cafe in Oslo. This cafe is known for their barista, Tim Wendelboe. Tim has won 3 Nordic Roaster competitions and 2004 World Barista Champion. A very talented man! We opted to do a coffee tasting and learnt about the different flavours. It was […]
Oh Stockholm, you are my favourite. This was one of the best cafes we found in Stockholm, johan & nystrom. It had such a great local, community vibe. It was nice to sit outside in the sun sipping our coffees before we adventured into the city for the day. A must to try as well […]
This little blog for the time being has inadvertently turned into a travel blog, which I am ok with. I am currently in the process of figuring out what to do next with this blog. But, for now you will just have to enjoy some African posts from my current trip to Africa.
I went on this trip with my family to the Great Ocean Road in Victoria about 3 months ago but it was so fun that I had to post part 2 of these photos. Part one is here.
A few weeks ago, my family and I decided to take a road trip down to The Great Ocean Road, which is in the state of Victoria. It was absolutely breathtaking! I have never seen such beautiful oceanside and vast country side! We were hoping for no rain but the foggy skies turned out […]
Woki Organic Cafe was recommended by a friend from Sydney. It was a great recommendation! Woki had a great variety of gluten free food and also very fresh options. Which is a treat when travelling. The coffee was average but the thats ok because the Barcelona vibe made up for it.
I must admit it has taken almost 2 months to start this but better late than never!!! I am starting a new blog series about all the amazing cafes I experienced in Europe. My two favourites from Paris were Cafe Pinson and Merci.. Cafe Pinson was great for many reasons but especially because it had […]
Istanbul, the last stop on our European holiday. And what a stop it was. Istanbul is a city spread out over two different continents, Europe and Asia, hence the saying, “Where East Meets West.” You can easily just take a ferry ride across the Bosporus Straight to the Asian Side. We found Istanbul so diverse, like […]
I honestly have no words to describe this place. It was probably one of the highest places on my list to visit. I will let the photos do the talking.
